So you say you’ve got the Post-Super Bowl Blues? Well have no fear, sports fans, because K-MAC Sports has just the cure!
For starters, Tuesday night (Feb. 7) marks the regular season finale for the playoff-bound Liberty Hill Lady Panthers and the Cedar Park Lady Timberwolves girls basketball teams. In the meantime, as the boys’ season enters its final full week, the Liberty Hill Runnin’ Panthers look to stay unbeaten in district play, while Cedar Park, Vandegrift and Vista Ridge continue to battle for playoff spots in the wild demolition derby that is District 25-4A.
We’ll give you a day to catch your breath from all of the high school hoops action before the Concordia Tornados return to the K-MAC airwaves on Thursday night (Feb. 9). The Women’s team, tied for first in the ASC West, tips off the action against McMurry as the Tornados fight for the right to host the ASC Tournament. Then the Men’s team follows as they look to lock down a post-season berth of their own.
Friday night (Feb. 10) brings bi-district playoff action for the high school girls plus more boys basketball match-ups.
Finally, NCAA baseball returns on Saturday (Feb. 11) as Concordia plays a split twin-bill, live from Tornados Field.
But first things first. Here is your Tuesday night line-up; the first dose of our antidote for the Post-Super Bowl Blues. Enjoy!
